Established in 2004, The Beat Dance Studio has evolved from the vision of founders Leigh and Gillian Bingham. Former franchisees of Fred Astaire Dance Studios South Africa, they sought to revolutionize dance education by creating a modern syllabus tailored to contemporary music styles. Dissatisfied with traditional methods, Leigh became the CEO of FADS South Africa, laying the foundation for The Beat. Over the past fifteen years, it has grown into Southern Africa’s largest independent social dance studio, offering a dynamic and innovative approach to dance instruction.
